Focus on Evangelism

Two related events, sponsored by the National Black Presbyterian Caucus-Southern California Chapter, will focus on "Growing Christ's Church in a Changing Culture." Clergy are invited to a Friday morning September 17 workshop; all church leadership is invited to the conference which begins that evening and continues on Saturday September 18. Conference leaders include the Rev. Dr. Diane Givens-Moffat and Elder Lynette R. Hawkins, both from Greensboro NC.

The Fresh Horizon: Zephyr Point Will Host a Local (Long Beach) Event

Our presbyteries are using more than their websites to network online. Stop by the updated Presbyteries Page (link below) to see who is on Facebook, who is using Twitter, and who is blogging. New technology has enabled the website staff to offer a mapping service for presbyteries (two presbyteries have used this service to date) and to provide iPhone users with a web app that serves as an online directory of all synod churches.
